And I planted in the universe, in mine

The tree of life concept has been used in biology, religion, philosophy, and mythology. A tree of life is a common motif in various world theologies, mythologies and philosophies. It alludes to the interconnectedness of all life on our planet and serves as a metaphor for common descent, in the sense of evolution. The term tree of life can also be used as a synonym for sacred tree.

The tree of knowledge, connecting Heaven and the underworld, and the tree of life, connecting all forms of creation, are both forms of the tree of the world or of the cosmic tree, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica, and was portrayed in various religions and philosophies as the same tree

Genesis 2:8-10

8 Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 The Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

The man is a summary of the creation: the microcosm, created in the image of the macrocosm, is the keeper of all the memory of the world, the files of the universe are contained in it. These files are also represented symbolically in the tree life by the sefira Dååth, wisdom. According to Kabbalists, Dååth is the original subject, the primordial matter over which, in the beginning of the world, God slid his breath to fertilize it. It is because it is the substance of creation that is able to contain the memory. And the spirit awakes this report touching the matter as the breath of the wind makes vibrate the strings of a wind harp.

The tree life, the cabalistic tree of life is a picture of the universe that God lives and that he impregnates with its essence, a symbolic representation of the divine life which circulates through all creation. Here we have a system that we will avoid to disperse us spiritual activity. Where we find a balance and harmony of the cosmic life, enjoying its fruits.

The tree of life is a symbolic diagram that summarizes all the initiatic science, the doctrines of all initiates. It can be compared with a grain, with a seed: plant it, and all creation will appear before you with a multitude of creatures. This scheme can be arranged in a magical instrument, a pentacle of the most powerful. Everything is there, all the principles, all the elements, all the factors with which God created the world.

“If you need light, love, force, protection, generosity, justice and life… turn to the tree of life: is there available to the sons and daughters of God needing to feed on the divine life”.
